After a long career as a graphic designer, Book Williams Jr rented a small dark basement from a gallery, locked himself in, and experimented with paper for more than a year.
He emerged with a unique, paper-crafty Illustration style and scraps of cardstock in his teeth. Born and raised in Chicago, he now resides in Denver and wonders why mountains and camping are such a big deal. He digs comics. He digs his bone folder, and he hasn’t driven a car in more than ten years.
His work is the culmination of his love for photography, his need to draw, and long hours of experimenting with paper.
